More than 150 years of Funeral Service
PFP’s history begins with the Leitz-Eagan family whose experience dates back to 1854. As owners of family-owned and operated funeral homes, their concern was providing products and services, which are superior in the marketplace and even better in the minds of families. Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home was operated by funeral professionals who know the importance of reputation, integrity, and service to the community, values that PFP continues to reflect today.
In 1978, Quinn Eagan, President and Founder of Preneed Funeral Program, began his career at Leitz-Eagan. Quinn went door to door in the community to sell preneed, a relatively new concept at the time. Not long after, Quinn recruited Craig Henry and Michael O’Dwyer to help solidify his preneed efforts. They experimented with different sales techniques and traveled to numerous trade shows to perfect their craft. Before long, they had figured out what worked and what didn’t and were traveling the country training other firms on the best preneed practices.
After realizing the great potential of preneed and the immense benefits it brings to families, Quinn started his own preneed marketing firm, Preneed Funeral Program (PFP). PFP has grown tremendously and now operates in 34 states in the U.S. and throughout Canada.
Quinn Eagan, Craig Henry, and Michael O’Dwyer comprise the PFP management team who still operate today. That’s more than 30 years of experience, unity, and loyalty you can count on.
