    Whichever PFP marketing program your funeral home may utilize, PFP provides comprehensive training before implementation to ensure each program is carried out as effectively as possible. We provide on-site, telephone, and web training and will perform whichever method we mutually agree to be best suited for your firm and the program(s) in use.

    We provide hands-on assistance to ensure you receive maximum results, whether from a marketing campaign, seminar, community event, or any other marketing tools we may provide. Our training system develops habits, so sales counselors’ presentations come naturally to them and consistently produce results.

    In-Field Training

    Our most highly tuned and perfected training program is our in-field training for preneed counselors.

    As a result of 30 years of experience and success, PFP has developed a comprehensive 2-week preneed counselor training program that will help:

    1. Increase close rates in the presentation
    2. Form lasting relationships with families

    Both are goals anchored in techniques and procedures that have proven effective in the past and consistently succeed today.

    PFP can bring in a counselor to train and work on behalf of your funeral home, or you may choose to work with an existing sales counselor on your staff. In either case, the counselor will participate in an intensive two-week one-on-one session with a top-performing member of our sales team.

             Week 1: Shadowing and observing of the sales professional in family presentations.

             Week 2: The counselor assumes control of the presentation under supervision of the training/sales professional.

    The typical PFP counselor, after just two weeks of training, is capable of writing 1 million dollars per year of preneed contracts.
