Vice President - Regional Relationship Manager
Troy joined PFP in March 2022. Starting his career as a Funeral Director in Virginia Beach, VA, Troy was introduced to Preplanning in 1988 and has enjoyed assisting families in all aspects of funeral planning. In 1994, he started his preplanning career with a large Funeral Home in Massachusetts. After four successful years in Massachusetts, Troy relocated to North Carolina in 1998 to assist hundreds of funeral homes in four states with their preplanning and marketing needs.
Troy is PFP’s Vice President and Regional Relationship Manager, serving Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He has the ability to strategize and build programs that enhance the unique needs of each of the funeral homes that he is honored to help.
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy meeting and hearing the stories of each funeral home that we have the opportunity to serve. I have many clients that have been with me for over 20 years and those relationships have made this job rewarding to watch their ongoing success and continued growth.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Helping others succeed will always impact your own career in a tremendously meaningful way. Also, when I was told to marry my wife Kim before she had the chance to change her mind.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
I enjoy playing golf, volunteering at church, playing the piano, traveling, and mostly being with my family and friends.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Time Manipulation Being able to assist all my clients expediently but also get back to enjoying my family and leisure time
