Regional Relationship Manager
With over 11 years of experience empowering and assisting funeral homes, Garrison is a trusted advisor in the preneed space. As a Regional Relationship Manager, he helps funeral homes across the region (Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Western Illinois) reach and educate families on the benefits of pre-arranging. Prior to this role, Garrison honed his expertise as the Customer Service Manager at Homesteaders Life Company and worked extensively with Homesteaders Solutions and the EnGauge CRM. Garrison is dedicated to equipping funeral homes with the tools and strategies they need to do more and connect with more families in their community.
What do you love most about your job?
At the end of the day, we’re helping funeral homes support people in their communities as they prepare for and process one of the most difficult experiences in life: the death of a loved one. It’s incredibly meaningful to be a part of that.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
My father has always emphasized the importance of being accountable and true to one’s word, and it’s something I’ve always carried with me in my personal and professional life.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my wife, our dog and cat, and family and friends. I really enjoy the outdoors (camping, hiking, fishing), golf, traveling, and seeing live music. My wife and I are proud to be Des Moines natives and try to stay active in our awesome community.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I’d love to have the ability to predict or see the future in order better to understand the effect of today’s choices and decisions.
