Rebecca has been in the funeral industry for over 20 years. Before landing at PFP, she was a licensed funeral director and embalmer. She graduated from the University of Mount Union in 2006 and The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2008. One of her favorite accomplishments was taking the Fountain National Academy postmortem reconstruction classes. Now, she uses her industry knowledge in her role as a Regional Relationships Manager, covering Ohio, West Virginia, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky.
Rebecca was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and is all things Cleveland, Browns, Cavs, Indians! She is married to her best friend, Nick and together they have two beautiful sons, Ivan and Kevin.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping funeral homes connect with their communities and develop relationships with their families is the best part. I also love presenting to the public to share with them the importance of pre-planning and getting things in order prior to passing. Getting in front of people and presenting is what brings me great joy!
What is the best advice you have ever received?
The best advice I have ever been given is that I may not be able to control everyone and everything, but I can control my reaction to everyone and everything.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
I love to read and spend time with my husband and two sons! We love to take bike rides, walk, and go hiking in the metro parks. I also love going to the movies.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
If I had one superpower, it would be the ability to make everyone fall asleep—so that the world could be still for a moment. I would like things to slow down at times!
