What do you love most about your job?
The opportunity to solve problems. I love the challenge of a puzzle and the feeling of accomplishment that comes with enacting a solution.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
My first computer science professor introduced me to the KISS principle, “Keep it simple, stupid.” In all the years since, I still find the simplest solution is almost always the most reliable and efficient.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
I enjoy listening to music and watching sports, especially college football. Whenever I have the opportunity, I head out to the marsh to fish for trout and reds.
If you could have any superpower what would it be?
Change water to Heineken. I’d have already retired if I could learn that trick.
